Architectural intern

North Arrow Studio has an opening for a part-time architectural intern. We are looking for an enthusiastic and disciplined applicant with a solid design foundation and an interest in boutique commercial and residential projects. We welcome designers with an entrepreneurial spirit, who are eager to learn and grow, and are capable and willing to help shape the future of our practice.

What You Can Expect

This position is part-time; we are looking for 15-20 hours a week but we are willing to work with your schedule.  You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and grow in your career. You can expect accessible leadership in a professional and ego-free working environment.  You will work with a group of talented and hardworking designers open to new ideas and collaboration.

Job Description

• Develop presentation materials

• Prepare marketing materials and assist with online presence

• Assist architectural staff with project deliverables as required

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Architecture program or equivalent

• SketchUp experience

• Drafting experience

• Ability to take direction and work independently

General Offer Terms

• 15-20 hour work week

• Supervision/mentoring in the AXP process

• Compensation will be commensurate with skill level and experience
